It is an ancient Chinese edible and medicinal mushroom that reportedly has immunosupportive, antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties, but is best known for its beneficial effects on the nervous system. It is a natural nootropic that is reported to enhance cognition, improve memory, encourage nerve regeneration and improve overall brain health. Some of the medicinal compounds of lion's mane need to be extracted using alcohol, and some need to be extracted using water. Both alcohol and water extractions were used to make this tincture, making it a double extraction tincture that contains both the alcohol-soluble and water-soluble medicinal properties of lion's mane. I make my tinctures from lion's mane mushrooms that I grow myself. They are grown without any chemicals or pesticides and are harvested at peak maturity, ensuring a fresh and potent tincture. Available in 1 oz, 2 oz and 4 oz dropper bottles. Suggested dose is 1-3 dropperfuls per day. One dropperful is 1 squeeze of the rubber bulb regardless of the size of the glass part. The droppers have different size glass parts for different size bottles, but the rubber bulbs are the same size. A dropperful will not actually fill the glass part.
