Description: Listed 20th C. Italian Artist Nereo Zanco (1897-1969) Signed and Dated?, on lower right, this Still Life, Flowers in a Vase. It is an Original Oil on Canvas Board, from, we believe, 1954 (IV after the signature may be a roman numeral '4'. White roses with pink edged petals sit in a tall, stout, clear cut glass vase decorated with intricate, rounded carvings. Among the flowers are green stems with hardy leaves The table and background are covered with a flowing white fabric with folds and shadows. There is an open, and empty, glass candy dish, at right, next to two white carnations. Simple composition yet still Delicate and Elegant. 1 3/4" Wide, Rounded, Antiqued Lemon Gold Reverse moulding with linear decoration on the outside is included complimentary in this listing. Image opening measures 17 X 21 and is in Very Good Vintage condition.Outside measure of the frame is 20 3/4 X 24 5/8 and is in Very Good condition.Please carefully examine all images for condition.Shipping fee includes Delivery Insurance.
