Description: This Loew’s Weekly Program from the Loew’s Oriental Theatre in Brooklyn, New York, is for Saturday, October 23, 1930. On the cover is JOAN CRAWFORD all decked out and ready to party on Halloween. Printed in special purple ink. Inside is the Oriental’s upcoming features column with: John Barrymore in “MOBY DICK” to show for 3 days, BUSTER KEATON in “Dough Boys” for 2 days, and the MARX BROS. in “Animal Crackers” 3 days the next week. The program measures 5-3/4" wide by 8-1/4" tall folded, 11-1/2" wide flat, and is in excellent condition with light tanning and the fold is off. This is a great old movie house piece for the Joan Crawford and movie history collector. See the pics. The Loew’s Oriental Theatre opened on October 13, 1927. It was known for its lavish Oriental style décor. It closed on May 21, 1995.
