Description: A hand-drawn map titled "Plan of the District of Saint Bartholomew in the parish of Saint Matthew. Bethnal Green 1844. Beside this is written, "Copied London 22nd July, 1849" and signed with initials. The map includes an area marked as "Jews Burial Ground", Eastern Counties Railroad, and Octagon. Executed on onionskin paper, approx 16" x 11". About Good condition, with various tears and wrinkling. Also included is a separate page with an alphabetical list of the streets, and inside a scale for the map, also dated 1849 and signed by its author. 7" x 9", Very Good condition.
