Description: Look Magazine, August 1, 1950, Intact. dl. All pages intact and connected to staples. There is wrinkling and dulling of cover, though colors still show vividly. Some creasing of corners and ruffling of edges. Spine has a lot of rub wear. Back cover has a verical crease near spine. There is a half-inch edge tear on front edge. All in all I would say the cover, as well as the whole magazine, is somewhat fragile due to age, but still presents very well, given the vivid colors and dramatic photography and ad illustrations. I read through the entire magazine. All pages turn well. I saw no writing or other marking. There are small light creases at the bottom spine corner. A couple of pages have about 1 inch tears on front edge. But, in general, it has held up well for a publication of it's kind. The culture of 1950 presented in this magazine's advertising appears quite different to that of today.
