Finally, it won't see the HDD or boot with the hard drive installed. As soon as we unplug the HDD cable, it boots as it should. The internal 14" stays black and does not display the Lenovo logo or the booting process. We used our external monitor to capture some pictures. If the LCD connector, video cable, or motherboard is faulty, they are unknown to us. Inside Windows, it sees only our external monitor and not the Lenovo Screen! We haven't done any testing or further inspection to these laptops Batteries are untested. They take charge, but we haven't tested them for their longevity For repair or possible parts. AS IS.
