Feather Palm wax is a naturally soft wax. Votives burn best when allowed to burn long enough at each use to accumulate a liquid layer all across the top of a tight fitting votive holder that is at least ¼ inch deep and all the way out to the edge. This ensures a smooth and even long lasting burn of the candle, (no “core-out” down the middle). Feather Palm wax votives work best with a long wick, for best results do not trim the wick shorter than ½ inch above the surface of the candle. This produces a melt pool of wax that ensures optimal burn and that you will derive the most pleasure from your handcrafted votive candle.
