I am the first and biggest ,the most professional shop in Ebay, only for glass polishing products. How to use sanding discs for deep scratches: 1. Put the sanding disc on the hook and loop backing pad, use sanding disc grit 80 or 320 first for coarse polishing 2--5 minutes , you will see the deep scratch getting lighter and lighter ,at last disappear, but the glass will get many light scratch and vague. It is OK, don't worry. (Attention: Try your best to focus on the area where the scratch is , so you will not make more new light scratch to the area where no need polish, save your time.) 2. then use grit 320 or 1000 for fine polishing ,to remove light scratch caused by the 1st step, the working area should be bigger to cover the area of 1st step, use a pen or label drawing on the back of glass to help you know where the area of scratch is . 3. Check whether the deep scratch get lighter ad lighter, then use grit 3000 or 7000 disc for a fine polishing. 4: Using which grit is decided by how light or deep you have made the scratch into, it means you no need use all of grit sanding discs. In most of case, you only need 3 grit, that is Grit 320 first, then grit 1000, at last grit 3000 (green), other grit is just for back up method if you are not skillful. 5. During the process please check the glass every 1 or 2 minutes, you will see deep scratch disappear .Glass will get many light scratch and be vague, look like fog. Now you can use cerium oxide powder to polish these light scratch: Follow below 5 steps, glass will get clear and transparent. 1. Clean the glass thoroughly. Mix some water with Cerium Oxide Powder in a tub. The ratio is 1: 1(water: powder) in weight. Use a stick to blend them thoroughly mixed to become wet paste/solution. 2. Attach the wool polishing pad to the hook and loop backing pad .Apply a small amount of the wet paste to the glass and wool polishing pad. 3. Work the polishing pad over the scratch with a electric drill.. 4. Applying more wet paste as needed. Add a little water if too dry or overheat, because excess heat will crack glass. 5.
