Description: Lugo Spain Personal Papers Property Rare History 1800s 1900s Ephemera 400+ ItemsThis collection was found at a local swap meet and contains papers from Spain from the late 1880s and throughout the 1900s. I don't know much about this history. I don't know if these are property or tax records, receipts, or what they are exactly.Places mentioned are Barreiros, Lugo, San Julian de Cabracos, and possibly other places in Spain.Earliest year I found was in the 1880s, and there are papers from the 1900s, 1910s, 1920s, 1930s, 1940s, and 1950s. I saw one item, I believe, was from 1991.Items are written in Spanish. Many items are handwritten.There are over 300 loose papers, and another 100+ pages of material. The larger papers in the center have different sizes, from 8" x 12" to 9" x 13". The smaller pages are 4" x 6" and smaller, with others being a bit larger.These paper items are in antique condition with tearing, edge chipping, creasing, discoloration, marks, and folds. Some items have heavier tearing and wear. There are uneven edges and turned corners. These papers have been stored for decades. There is an old paper-type scent to these documents.The collection weighs around 5 pounds.Please see photos for more information on condition and ask any questions you may have.
