Scratches may be feelable and may be audible, especially in soft passages and during a song’s intro and ending but should not be deep gouges and should not skip. Playing quality is 6 out of 10 with visual playwear yet still in VG condition. When played, a VG record has some surface noise that can be audible but not enough to disrupt the listening experience. The surface noise should not overpower the music otherwise.
