Description: M-L (10-12) real SHEARED BEAVER fur car coat, gentle swing, knee-length, sheared beaver fur, browns, pretty! wonderful vintage find (#2504-e) You'll be turning heads in this luxurious, soft (ombre) SHEARED BEAVER jacket car coat ... with a gentle amount of swing to it! This jacket design is vintage, functional and gorgeous! Even the most severe winter weather is no match for this SHEARED BEAVER coat jacket with it's longer length and classic luxury. If you're not familiar with SHEARED BEAVER, the fur is commercially shaved/sheared to remove the longer, shiny, coarse guide hairs from the BEAVER pelts. The result is a uniform length (approx .5") fur fibers that are SUPER SOFT and feel like VELVET. Features a classic shawl collar (that can be closed up higher during cold weather), long/wide sleeves that hang straight to the gathered wrists and turned back cuffs. Generously cut arm holes for ease of movement ... front closures are heavy-duty furrier's hook/eye closures. All of the fur is in EXCELLET condition ... no stiffness, no smells, no tears, no shedding. LIGHT BROWN lining is in EXCELLENT condition with no holes, stains or other imperfections. It does have the initials the coat's original owner. The original furrier's label says "John Wanamaker, Rittenhouse Shops." This is in wonderful vintage condition, clean and ready to be the best "statement piece" in your closet to your winter!
