Description: This jacket was definitely washed and worn many times, but it's still in good shape. Nice and slightly faded, just as it should be. There is ghosting from the name and branch tape, holes in the collar from rank pins, and a glue spot from a removed patch on the upper sleeve. Significant repairs to the back of the collar and to the top of a pocket - whoever wore this originally REALLY didn't want to pay for a new uniform. However, the stitching is solid and really well done, so the integrity of the jacket isn't harmed by this. The asterisk on the tag is interesting - essentially, these were meant to be made of a cotton-nylon blend fabric, but the Military couldn't get it for this run of uniforms, and so the asterisk tag indicates that it's still 100% cotton. This jacket came to me as part of a bundle of stuff from the UK, so it's had an interesting life! -------- I am a longtime collector of Cold War military equipment. However, as the need to pay for grad school looms on the horizon, I am now selling off a good portion of my collection. Follow me to see my latest listings, and grab some fascinating history (and other stuff) at great prices! I am a collector more than a salesman, and so I'm quite happy to do whatever I can to ensure that you get what you're looking for. I'm always happy to combine shipping! Unfortunately eBay makes that process difficult sometimes, but if you can't request an invoice, go ahead and buy what you want and I will refund the difference! International buyers please note that you are responsible for determining whether this item is allowed to import; I will not refund orders because they were confiscated by customs.
