Description: This vintage Madame Alexander composition doll is a precious addition to any doll collection. The 16" doll has a chubby build and features a beige color complexion, brown eyes, and light skin. It is perfect for repair or for parts-one baby doll that includes a head, eyes, arms, body, and legs. The doll has original finish. It was manufactured between 1930-1939. Marked ALEXANDER with a Dionne character likeness or perhaps Princess Elizabeth? It is made of composition material. The limbs and torso paint and composition are in good condition with normal wear for it's age. There is a couple spots on the back of the legs just above the heels that are missing paint. Also a chipped spot on the outer edge of left foot. The head is adorable with it's chubby blushed cheeks and big brown eyes, however, there is an eyelid chip on the right eye, a crack at the left eye, the eyes are shattered, no lashes, the face is crazed, crack at side seam and at back of neck. The doll is not strung and arrives apart. This doll is out of my personal stash. I had high hopes to restore this lovely baby. Liquidating a doll hospital. 25 years of doll repair and restoration has left many dolls and doll parts. I will be listing items and lots over the next month.
