She has published the poetry collections Cuarenta y tres maneras de soltarse el pelo (2013), Baluarte (2014), Ya nadie baila (2015), La soledad de un cuerpo acostumbrado a la herida (2016) and Adiós al frío (2020). Elvira collaborates with musicians, singer-songwriters and other poets, and has published two books that combine illustration and poetry: TÚ la Acuarela/Yo la Lírica (2013), in collaboration with Adriana Moragues, Aquella orilla nuestra (2018), illustrated by Emiliano Batista (EMBA), and A los perros buenos no les pasa cosas malas (2019), illustrated by Ayesha Rubio.
