A magnificent dark blue field decorated with floral spnadarles and pointed floral objects in colourful gold and reds surrounded by an eyecatching multi borders with similarly patterned motifs in combination of rich reds, blues amongst other colours. Even though aged around 100 years but it has defied years of usage by remaining in excellent condition with soft wool touch and fine sturdy foundation. These types were called American Sarouk due to the dyed colours suited American tastes and normally made in rich red colours. It is a rare occurance to have such combination of midnight blue and gold colours. I like to draw your attention to the layers of outer borders which again hardly seen in other types. Despite its age the rug is in very good condition with good consistent pile and has been professionally cleaned and washed ready to furnish your home.
