Pieces are structurally sound and would still look just as nice if they were re-finished. Armoire comes with two adjustable shelves, but the 4 of the pins are missing, so only one shelf can currently be hung. You can likely find replacement pins at your local hardware store. From the website: "The cases in the Joplin bedroom collection come with handsome scroll details and nickel pulls in additional to legs display nickel caps. Pieces feature bombe motifs, seen in the attractive serpentine fronts. The armoire doors swing 270 degrees and are double hinged. Armoire also includes vented back, power bar, clothing rod, two adjustable shelves and two tray drawers with felt lined jewelry drawers and holds most 36 inch TVs. All items in the Joplin furniture collection are crafted of mahogany veneers and hardwood solids."
