Description: I assume this to have been printed in Portuguese and German. Each article is printed first in German and followed by Portuguese/Spanish. Numbered 1,177 of 1,500. According to the numbered page, the Omega stamp was personally signed by the editor, though is seems to be signed "Editorial Omega", which is a pretty convenient name. So the book is in generally good condition with pages yellowed or even browned. The gutter can be seen in several areas but all pages are firmly bound. No dust jacket. Wear to the board edges. Illustrated by Brigitte Frankfurther, an Argentinian artist. Various authors including Herman Klein, Leo Jung, Josef Oppenheimer, Michael Molho, Hermann Cohen, Eugene Mittwoch, Herman Weyl, Gotthold Weil, Jose Maria Millas Vallicrosa, Lazaro Zitnitzky, Francisco Vera, Abraham Mibashan, Hardi Swarsensky, Alberto Gerchunoff, Susman Muntner, Leon dujovne, Carlos Kost, Mario Davidovsky, Amadeo de Vitale, Egon Loewenstein, Benson Bahbouth, Francisco Kastberger, Julius Kaufmann, Mordechai Berenstein, Das Jigdal-Lied, David Ben Yehuda Dayan, Gerardo sachs, Yigdal, Maimonides. If this note is repetitive for this auction I apologize MEDIA MAIL: The USPS allows books, records and other media to be mailed at a cheaper price than typical mail. It tends to be a much slower mailing process than standard mail. In addition, any employee of the USPS can open the package at ANY time for ANY reason to verify that what is inside is what should be inside. In most cases, the item is properly repackaged but in rare cases it is not, and an item can arrive damaged. As my feedback suggests, I package very carefully. If you receive a damaged item that has the appearance of having been poorly packaged, please contact me prior to leaving feedback so that it can be addressed. PLEASE NOTE: For book sales, I virtually always include a vinyl bag tightly wrapped on the exterior. This is an attempt to prevent any USPS employee from opening the package for inspection as it would be time consuming for them to repackage it. This is done simply because my packaging is done more carefully than their repackaging and also to protect the book from the elements. The vinyl bag covers cardboard protection and you can simply cut the bag open (carefully) and remove the contents. The cardboard protection is also typically held with tape and cutting in the obvious places will allow the cardboard to pop right open, exposing the book (in another protective vinyl bag). Using this method, you should be able to open any book I send in under a minute. No "buzz saw" is required. Thank you
