Description: What you are bidding on 1920 Straits Settlements FIFTY Cent KM# 35.1 IMPORTANT NOTE: This coin is a well preserved, authentic piece of British history, celebrating 101 years old. The Straits Settlements is now known as SINGAPORE, MALAYSIA. The coin has not been cleaned, and the obverse has a clear left facing bust of King George V, good clear lettering, with the crown and face detail showing some wear as indicated by the grade I assigned below. The reverse has good detail, please note the horizontal lines within the numeral FIVE are definable and show slight wear. It is not the most beautiful looking coin due to age, but the details are still easily definable making it a nice collectable. Coin grading is very subjective, and I am considered by most as a conservative grader. Overall, given the age of the coin, I have graded it XF. This coin is not certified. I will leave the actual coin grading up to you based on your judgement using the high resolution scan since this is the actual coin you will receive.
