Description: Up for sale is a small resin statue or tsa tsa depicting the Bodhisattva Manjushri. It measures 2 & 1/4” tall and is highly detailed. Statues this small are often carried as power objects or amulets to bring protection or other powers. They are also carried by devotees of the particular Bodhisattva they worship, sometimes inside of a portable altar or amulet worn on the chest known as a gau. Thus, highly detailed statues of this size are highly prized and auspicious and certainly rare as few exist on the market any longer. If you look at my other auctions you will find other statues from this set for sale, as I had the entire collection at one point. I will combine wins to save on postage costs.
