A marker is installed at the rear of the frame. The seeder unit includes:Seed Hopper with a Rotary Disc at the rearFurrow Opener with a Seed TubeBrush Mechanism with Valve DriveCoverer The seeder unit is driven by the supporting-drive wheel through a chain drive. As the seeder moves, the rotating brush of the seeder unit picks up seeds and directs them into the seed tube through an opening in the hopper and rotary disc. Seeds accumulate on the valve of the furrow opener, which is mounted on a two-arm lever interacting with a finger disc on the seeder shaft's left side. Seeds are deposited into the furrow created by the furrow opener at intervals (2 or 4 nests per meter depending on the finger disc setting). The furrow is then covered by the coverer and compacted by the press wheel. The marker, set to the desired row width, indicates the path for the furrow opener. For dotted sowing, the valve is locked in the open position using a stop. Preparing the seeder for use includes setting the seed sowing rate, number of nests per meter, furrow opener depth, and row width.To set the seed sowing rate, adjust the rotary disc in the seed hopper according to the type of seeds and agronomic recommendations.To set the number of nests per meter (2 or 4), adjust the finger disc for the valve drive.For dotted sowing, lock the valve in the open position with the stop. Advice! To check the accuracy of the sowing rate, you can roll the seeder over a flat horizontal surface with the furrow opener removed.To set the furrow opener depth, on a flat horizontal surface, rest the press wheel on a stand equal to the recommended seed depth minus 0.5 cm (0.2 inches) and, while holding the seeder in this position, loosen the wing nut securing the furrow opener. Lower the furrow opener until it touches the surface and secure it with the nut.The row width is adjusted by moving and fixing the marker on the rod.
