This vintage teapot was made with the finest Zisha clay from the Yixing Provence in China. The minerals and sand in the clay gives it a special coloring and feel to the teapot. Its recommended to use Puer (fermented tea), Black Tea, and Oolong tea with this teapot because of the minerals and absorption. The teapot much like a like cast iron will absorb and help make strong dark teas have a more sweet and soft taste. Not recommended to use many different teas as it will infuse its flavor into the teapot. This vintage and brand new teapot is a great addition to any lover of high quality teapots.
