Native Oklahoman Mark Miller studied under the great illustrator Pruett Carter, but began his art career as a costume designer for 20th Century Fox in Hollywood, but this burgeoning career was delayed when he was called into the armed services during WWII. After the war, Miller turned his focus to the highly competitive New York City illustration area, where he established himself as a prominent advertising and magazine illustrator. In the 1960s, Miller extended his art career to include Europe, creating a buzz which has left him in high demand ever since.
