Description: This is a OOAK costume ensemble created right here at Heartsome (Halos) It includes the purple lace corset and jacket over a long gold tunic, a green skirt, sash belt and mask!!. All the colors to help you celebrate Mardi Gras, masquerade or many other celebrations, festivals carnivals ! Clearance Priced! This costume has never been worn as recreated here We begin with the green skirt. It is a chiffon like nylon outer layer with lining and elastic waist. It is shown without a crinoline but it would look great with one beneath it. If I look closely there may be some light stains (more like light water marks) at front but used as presented here I think it is just fine. Over the skirt is a pale metallic gold tunic with a very faint floral pattern. Although it never fastened at front, I have added two gold button closures and elastic loops to aid in holding it closed and the lace corset helps accomplish this further. You may want to wear a little something under this though in case it slides out of place, in order to prevent any wardrobe malfunctions! The pretty purple lace corset adds a lovely layer of interest as does it's matching jacket. Corset slips over head, has thin adjustable straps and a decorative lace up front. The jacket is a shrug style, ruffled, and open at front (no fasteners). The purples are always so hard for me to photograph, always looking a different shade. It is a little on the violet purple side not so much on the blue hue. I am including a mask which I purchased new and then embellished it with lovely mossy green feathers and a gold tassel over the gold sequin look base. It has ties for wearing.Also there is a sequin fabric sash belt to accent the waist, one more detail to add to this fabulous, fun costume!!! Overall the details of this beautiful ensemble make for a rich looking outfit full of interesting layers and texture . Great not just for Halloween, but worthy of stage productions, masquerades balls and festivals. They are real clothing pieces not cheaper, mass manufactured garments so you will get years of use. ***This outfit seems to fit the mannequin pretty well keeping in mind she has no arms and can't actually talk ;-) but her measurements are bust 40" and waist 33", waist 43" to help guide you but be sure to use flat measurements of garments as well Since vintage size labels are often not accurate by present day sizing standards, ALWAYS use the flat measurements provided and compare to your own garment to aid in sizing rather than dependon any suggested or estimated "size" .
