The end pages have foxing and tanning due to age. Pages 84 & 85 have a some blue marks. You may find a stray pencil mark. The 252 pages have bold print which is easy to read. This book has lessons from 1st grade to 8th grade. The binding is good and tight. No dust jacket was issued. What a gem of a book!!!!! Teaching spelling is an art!!! The student must learning how to listen of sounds and learn the sounds of each letter. Plus learn to understand correct enumeration all will help the student learn to spell. The text has pages of words that sound alike but spelled differently. Not much has changed in a 100 years!!!! Please examine all of the photographs carefully!
