When I visited Paris I was fortunate to witness Mathieu's brilliance. He fooled me with cutting edge methods and effects. The last time I felt this way was when I worked with Gaetan Bloom at the legendary Brooke Farm Inn of Magic. Gaetan showed me new gems every night we worked together. That was twenty years ago. It was the same experience with Mathieu. Night after night he kept blowing me away. Don't miss your chance to witness his material. You will feel the same feelings I did. Amazement, wonder and I guarantee you be shaking your head when Mathieu tips his phenomenal methods. He's destined to be recognized as one of magic's best thinkers." - Bob Kohler -------- Mathieu Bich by Close-Up Magic - DVD This DVD, directed by Jean-Luc Bertrand is a fantastic compilation of some of Mathieu Bich's most incredible effects. Watch and learn as you see one of France's finest magicians in action! Effects Included: -Alu - A very clever way to produce small objects (like a deck of cards) from aluminum foil. -Perrier - A perfect prediction where the spectator shuffles, decides on a card, and it matches a message in a bottle. Plus, he'll also explain his routine where a stretched hairband is "frozen in time"... stretched out... and slowly shrinks back down to its normal condition. Weird, visual, fun, unexpected, AND practical... these are the kinds of great magic ideas that you will learn from Mathieu Bich. -Burnt -The Force - A very cool, no angle force -Heat -Strike It -Double Club -Re-Post It -Technicolor -Leverage - Use a magic pen to find and stick to a card. -Fickle - Make the selected card jump from the deck (no thread). Bonus: -Thinner Take a deck of cards from it's box, instantly shrink the box flat, then make all the cards slowly disappear until you're left with only the four aces, which he'll place back into the flat box. -Stretching -Erazed - Make the face of a SIGNED ordinary playing card turn BLANK. Can me handed out as a souvenir. ------ You fooled us!-Penn & Teller One of the most creative people in the world. Everything that he does is well thought out, very clever and usually so far out of the box you would never think of the method. I love pretty much everything Mathieu does-Chris Kenner Mathieu Bich is a magician, and has probably always been one After self teaching magic for a few years, he met Dominique Duvivier who gave him creation lessons for over 8 years. This will transform Mathieus vision of magic, as he was mainly focussed on technique; Dominique Duvivier taught him the processes and methods to invent tricks, and to also become a magic creator. Since then Mathieu has constantly been creating new magic using original concepts and routines generally based on new principles, or unexpected methods. In 1998 he presented his first lecture which was an instant success. Since then he has presented it more than 50 times all around the world. Mathieu published some of his creations in the biggest magic magazines: Magic (USA), Chanel One (USA), Le Magicien (France), MagicSeen (UK), Magicus (France), Pegasus (Germany), Arcanes (France), Evocation (China)... In 2003 he won the FISM Invention championship. Several TV channels required Mathieus services, in France as well as abroad. In 2007 Mathieu collaborated with Nintendo on the interactive magic game "Master of Illusions" and sold one of his tricks to the Japanese firm TENYO. In 2008 he worked as a magic consultant for David Blaine the famous American magician, who performed one of Mathieus creations during his show on the ABC channel. In 2011 HE FOOLED Penn & Teller on their TV Show "Fool Us".
