Mattel Ken & Barbie As Romeo & Juliet Doll Set Together Forever 1997 NRFB

Description: This auction is for Mattel's Ken and Barbie set featuring the duo as Romeo and Juliet. It was the first issue from the "Together Forever" collector set issued in 1997. The dolls themselves are in mint condition, being NRFB (Never Removed from Box). Barbie wears a gorgeous high-waisted velvet gown with golden trim and a dramatic chapel train. Her long dark hair is styled in a lovely braid with gold trim woven into her hair, adorned with a beautiful cap. She features the Mackie face sculpt and her makeup is beautifully done. Ken wears a a navy blue tunic with a silvery cloak, a blue velvety hat, blue leggings and glass slippers. The box is in good condition, considering it’s 25 years old. There is some creasing and wear, particularly on the left side of the back of the box – but presumably you’ll display the front. The cardboard on the front of the box has minimal wear and the plastic protecting the dolls is fully intact. These are photos of the exact box and set that you will receive.
