Description: Doll artist Maxine Oliver created this lovely ballerina for Tuesday's Child Doll Club of Connecticut and New York for the October 7, 1984meeting. She has a soft body with porcelain shoulder head and lower limbs. Her tiny face is beautifully painted with amazing dramatic eyesframed by long golden mohairwig. The lovely peasant costume maybe from the ballet Giselle~ She is on pointe, with molded and painted ballet shoes. Her arms are movable so they can be posed up, out, or down. The back of her deep shoulders is incised with the copyright date and the Doll Club name. She is in excellent vintage condition and is ready to display. She measures only 8.25" tall.
