Description: Here we have a fabulous framed vintage menu from the Belgian food restaurant, Rotisserie Frascati, once located at 9501 Wilshire Blvd in Beverly Hills, California. Cool full-color illustration. Professionally framed, under glass, in a high-quality, solid wood frame. Provenance: From the estate of the Lake Bluff, Illinois, entrepreneur and epicurean, Othon Ochsner (1934-2017) who had a passion for collecting fine wines, cookbooks and restaurant menus from his travels around the world. Besides being the president and CEO of Ochsner International, and the managing director of Ochsner Auto and Bike Museum, Ochsner Object d' Art Gallery, and Ochsner Cook Book Library, he belonged to the Ordre Des Canardiers, a French organization dedicated to the preservation of French culinary traditions; and Les Amis d' Escoffer Society, which describes itself as "the nation's foremost fraternity of dedicated gastronomes.... with a membership consisting of chefs de cuisine, hotel executives, restauranteurs, and business executives who gather monthly for epicurean meals."Vintage: circa early 1960sCondition: Overall very fresh and clean, very-vintage pre-owned condition. We haven't inspected the menu outside the frame. It appears to be in very good condition with light surface and edge wear. Patches of wear to the frame, particularly on the right side. Very solid and stable. Glass is bright and shiny, and free of scratches. Will arrive ready to hang, with no funky odors. Approximate Measurements: Frame measures 15.25" x 12.25"; menu measures 12.25" x 9.5" We consider funky odors (cigarette smoke, mildew, etc) to be an important part of a condition report.
