Description: This is a great piece for anyone who collects or decorating with MCM pieces. This item came out of an older estate. It needs a bit of restoring and I have left that for the next owner and why I am listing at less than most of the prices I have seen. Make an offer. This is an 18” diameter UFO shaped pull down light. The pull down mechanism is working but can use a little bit of cleaning and lubricating to work smoother. The shade of the light is pierced so that light shines through the holes giving it a touch of glow on the exterior. It looks to have a teakwood carved cone at the top and the shade finial has a bow tie atomic shaped handle for the pull down. Has original fabric wrapped cords and will need rewired for today’s standards. It holds a trio of 60w lightbulbs per the rating written on them. The arm that holds the bulb sockets is the only marking I have found and it reads Triboro. There is some paint spatter on the exterior. With a little love this light will look spectacular straight out of the Jetsons. Please look at all photos prior to making offers.
