The gaskets must be intsalled DRY (NO OIL OR LUBE OF ANY TYPE).TORQUE TO 20-25 INCH POUNDS DO NOT OVERTIGHTEN! It causes the gasket to bulge or squeeze out. Directions are included on the package label. TO REUSE GASKET: Wash gasket briefly in hot soapy water. Rinse gasket and dry thoroughly.
