MICHAEL COLLINS Apollo 11 Carrying The Fire SIGNED NASA Astronaut Autograph Set!

Description: I met Michael Collins in person at the national air and space museum in Washington DC, July 2009 for the 40th anniversary celebration of Apollo 11 landing on the moon. This was a very special opportunity to meet him; he was a complete gentleman, and we got to shake hands. I was also one of the first 50 people or so in line so this book was signed while Mr. Collin’s hand was still steady. He would not sign anything but this book, and it was limited to one per person, and if I recall correctly you had to buy it from the NASM. I may just find a picture of him signing with a bit of looking. I have two other reading copies, so I never opened this one to read. See the pictures to attest to an original hand signature with sharpie that bled through a bit to the back. I absolutely guarantee the authenticity of the signature. Michael Collins signed this book right in front of me. Additionally, I’m including two other Collins books. Both are for younger generations, and ex library copies with writing in the cover. This is a really nice Collins collection that I’m only selling as my children don’t want my astronaut collection, and I’d like someone to really enjoy this and the rest of my collection that will be posted over time.
