The design covers the lid and the bottom sides; the interior is plain white. The rim of the lid and top rim of the bottom section are painted with gold. The trinket or bon bon box stands 2 1/2 inches tall, measures 4 1/4 inches across and 4 1/4 inches back to front, and weighs 9 3/8 ounces. The bottom is marked: MIKASA - Bone China - FX017 Ribbon Holly - Japan. The Ribbon Holly covered box is in excellent, like-new condition, with no chips or cracks. There are no signs of wear or use.
