Description: A Chinese Famille-Rose ‘Mille-Fleurs’ chrysanthemum bowl with a gold rim. Beautifully hand painted, the exterior of bowl is decorated with lots of colourful flowers mixed in with gold. Perfect of a mantle or side-board display. Stamped on base with a Chinese Jiaqing seamark in iron-red. This dates back to the 1760-1820 period, but this is more likely to be an ‘apocryphal mark’ and not actually from that period. More likely to be from the late 19th or early 20th century. Measures 6" inches in diameter and 9.5 cm or 2.75 inches tall. Condition is excellent with no evidence of flaws, damage or repair. This item comes wiht a wood-carved display base as picktured.
