I am selling this equipment because I no longer shoot film.The camera takes about as good a picture as a 35mm wide angle film lens will do: I previously owned a Leica outfit, and the Minox takes just as good pictures as the Leica R8/35mm f2 combination did. The Minox camera has an f2.8 lens and shutter speeds up to 1/500th of a second. In order to activate the exposure meter and fire, you need to pull down the lens door and advance the film advance lever twice. The Olympus flash has 2 f stop ranges to choose between on auto, and manual exposure mode as well, and is powerful enough to cover over 30 feet if the film is fast enough and the aperture wide enough.. Once repaired, the Minox flash can be set to any aperture fromf2.8 to f16 or manual, and from 25 to 1600 ASA, and could cover 3 to 80 feet depending on aperture and film ASA rating.
