From seller's research the clipping may be from the Asheville Citizen newspaper and the reviewer and signature belongs to Gaylord Oscar Shepherd Sr. Mr. Shepherd was an advertising agent in Asheville but was also involved in publishing and radio. Book condition is acceptable; pages are bound, have browning and spotting on some pages. The spine has looseness and the hinges of the book boards have looseness. Scratch marks on the front board, the spine, scratch marks along the top of the spine and top edges of the boards. Some crease on the board corners. Some other edge crease on the boards. Marks and browning on the page edges. Other marks, wear and crease on the boards. A couple of pages have small corner fold. See all photographs for condition.
