Description: Fantastic survivor of the long-running Mitchell Brothers O'Farrell Theatre in San Francisco. Founded by Jim and Artie Mitchell, the impresarios behind early adult films like Behind the Green Door, and one of the premier live adult theaters in the country, this institution recently ceased operation. this button has artwork by the great Victor Moscoso and it pictures then Mayor Dianne Feinstein dressed as a clown, and beating a drum. SFPD led a raid on the theater in 1980 and arrested staffers and patrons on prostitution charges which they ultimately beat. The brothers then posted Dianne Feinstein's personal telephone number on their marquee saying "For a Good Time Call..." The pin seems to be dated 1984. It measures about 3/4 inch across.
