Description: Hello,I would like to start by saying that I miss " Dick" Jeppson. I first met Dick at the 1995 509th Composite Group Reunion In New Mexico,Alburquerque. Up until then very few people knew where Dick Jeppson was. After meeting him we became good friends until his death in 2010. From 1995 to 2010 we corresponded quite frequently, and I have scanned some of of correspondence. Please note the second letter In which he states my photo Is better than the original that he has. I am extremely proud of the fact that he considered me the lead 509th Historian. At the final 2017 Reunion, I was appointed the "Official" 509th Historian, which I consider a great honor. Please look at the quality of this autographed photo compared to other listings and look at letter Morris Jeppson wrote about my photos, also look at classified letter copied to Oppenheimer from Francis Birch. What I am listing Is a quality 8 x 10 photo of Morris Jeppson, taken before the B 29 " Enola Gay" took off for Hiroshima. This was originally a 509th " Official Photo" taken by photographer Armen Shamlian who loaned me the original. There Is a strip of paper over the photo to prevent copying, Dick autographed this photograph 20 or more years ago. This autographed photo has been hand signed on this photo; you will be able to see the pen Impressions on It when you hold It In your hand. The autograph is actual, real, hand signed on the photograph, It Is not a scan, copy or forgery of any type and will pass any test you want to put It through. Original letters are not Included In this listing.I will caution you to know your source when purchasing Atomic Bomb autographs. I acquired every Item that I sell. I personally knew 7 of the men that flew on the Enola Gay, and I am very pleased that our book Is referenced in " The Three Musketeers of the Army Air Force " by Robert Harder. If you want to read and learn more about the 509th you can purchase a copy of our book "The 509th Remembered" on our site with the same name I was elected an honorary member of the 509th In 2001, I have attended all Reunions since 1990, I have been the Reunion Chairman 2001-2006,2008-2017 Please e-mail me with your questions, I will combine for postal savings.
