This show was produced after longtime studio UPA ceased animation operations; DePatie-Freleng, producers of The Pink Panther Show, stepped in for this single-season 1977 Saturday morning series. Magoo is featured full-figured with an average character size hand-painted to approximately 2.25" x 3.75" . The hand-painted Master background is composed of a 1-2 color, simple gouache on board layer combined with an elaborate cel-painted layer, making for a gorgeous scene. This superb cel comes primarily from the episode 5 segment "Museum Magoo", with the cel and background bearing the matching production code 6014.
