MTEC / Maruta 2700K LED Headlight / Fog Light Bulbs have the same focal point as halogen bulbs. So unlike Philips or PIAA that can only work on fog light, MTEC kit can be installed on either headlight or fog light which still gives perfect light beam pattern. For most of the LED kits on the markets, if you install them on a reflector housing, you would get full brightness of the light, but the light will blind the oncoming traffic due to incorrect focal point. On the other hand, if you install them on a projector housing, you would get a clear cut off line, but you would get much dimmer light than the bulb actually emits because of incorrect focal point.
