Description: "Music from Petauke of Northern Rhodesia, Vol. 2" was released in 1965 by Folkways Records as part of the Ethnic Library series (FE 4202). It includes 19 field recordings, from 1962, of native Petauke musicians. There's an eight page booklet explaining local customs and providing details on each track. The vinyl grades VG+ due to a small pressing flaw, a small bump at the end of side two, track two that causes loud clicks on my system, but no skips (your results may vary). Otherwise there are no visible marks and it plays with occasional light noise - a cleaning would probably remove much of this. The cover is EX with a few light scuffs, a small ding along the bottom edge. Bonus Records! You also get the following: 1. "African Tribal Music and Dances" by Sonar Senghor Ak Sicco Yi, released by Counterpoint (CPT 5513, stereo) circa the early 1960s. Vinyl and sleeve both grade EX. 2. "African Concert" by The Troubadors of King Baudouin, released by Philips (PCC 214, mono, gatefold). There's a small hole that passes all the way through the sleeve and record (in the middle, so music not affected), so let's call this VG+/VG.
