Description: This is a very nice amplifier for small Qrp radios. It’s small size will be perfect for taking on hikes for SOTA expeditions or for small table space on field day excursions. I bought this for my Small Wonders 3watt QRP rig, a SW20+ kit made in the 90s. This amp puts out about ten times what you put in. I got about 30 watts using my 3 watt rig on 20m. My Xeigu g90 drove it at 5w and it put out more than 50w. My power meter might read a tad high… From what I’ve read, I believe these can potentially get 60w if the voltage source is 13.8 or greater, like if a power supply is used. The band selection Knob controls the output filters on this amp. I tested it using modes CW, VaraC and FT8 for a few hours and it performed flawlessly. Gets a little warm with VaraC ( a higher duty cycle mode ). When it got warm, I just turned it off and finished the qso by turning my g90 radio back up to its max power of 20watts. I only did this test with the g90 for a few QSOs. My main reason for getting this amp was for my smaller Qrp radio, and with that radio which does not have a PTT amp triggering signal, I created a separate device for Frequency sensing PTT control. Yaesu ft-817 and other radios without PTT signals would need this separate device. I would consider selling my Frequency Sense PTT control device separately. It worked perfectly with this amp that is for sale. I have installed on this amp a RCA type connector for the PTT signal needed to turn on this amp. I have also installed Anderson Power Poles for the power to this amp. Buy this from me and you won’t have to wait months for it to come from China, and this one works perfectly, no risk in getting a bad one from China. Message me if your also interested in my additional Frequency Sensing device for Qrp rigs without PTT signal. Enjoy this compact Amplifier
