Navy blue covers with beautiful front plate color illustrations on each of the books. Inside, however, is where the real treasure is found. Great stories, tons of illustrations. I included photos of a smattering of illustrations. Nearly every page has a drawing or illustration. If you want help develop your child’s love for books and a new way to expand their use of their imagination, your wide-eyed child may really benefit from this set of books. This series was a classic in its day, and continues to be a favorite for many youngsters, who are willing to dream big things! Volumes 1 and 2 are not included. The volumes that ARE included in this set are: Volume 3 - Up One Pair of Stairs Volume 4 – Through the Gate Volume 5 – Over the Hills Volume 6 – Through Fairy Halls Volume 7 – The Magic Garden Volume 8 – Flying Sails Volume 9 – The Treasure Chest Volume 10 – From the Tower Window Volume 11 – In Shining Armor Volume 12 – Halls of Fame Bonus Volume – A Parent’s Guide Book Condition - Good. Some are Very Good. Of course, this is a stack of books, and the condition for each book is a little different. But I am impressed with the overall condition of these children’s books. Often, for a set of ‘My Book House’ you will find tears and crayon drawings inside. But these are very clean, and in nice condition. You would hardly know these were used with children. Bindings are tight and pages are bright. No writing inside that I can see. Some light handling is apparent, and some very light scuffing on the covers. Book corners are nice. These are nice copies. Hardly touched. These are not ex-library books. I am not a book exchange company or Goodwill, where books are played out or pretty much ‘well fingered’ and obviously handled a lot. I mail items surrounded by cardboard, unlike some sellers that drop it in a thin plastic bag and call it good. I want it to arrive in the same condition you see in the photos.
