Description: This is an original blueprint from the Mythbusters TV show. This came from the recent “The Final MythBusters Charity Auction” held by the Propstore. The MythBusters team planned out their experiments by drawing them out on blueprints. These blueprints were used as title cards for myths and could usually be seen in the background of each episode in the M5 shop. The condition of the blueprint is good. There are some rips, wrinkles, and smudges on the paper. These would be due to their use in the production of the show and storage over almost 20 years later. Adam Savage has signed the blueprint in black ink. These are rare pieces of Mythbusters history. This item will ship in a PVC tube, fully insured for the purchase price. A color photocopy of the Propstore COA will be included. This blueprint would be from the Mythbusters special episode "Viewers-Choice/Christmas Special" which originally aired on December 22, 2004. In this episode, Adam and Jamie test holiday-related myths while revealing the top-10 myths as voted upon by fans of the series. Clips were shown from each of these segments, in reverse order from #10 to #1.1. Tree Cannon2. Jet Assisted Chevy3. Escape From Alcatraz4. Stinky Car5. Barrel of Bricks6. Larry's Lawn Chair Balloon7. Pop Rocks and Soda8. Beat the Breath Test9. Chicken Gun (clips from both the original test and the revisit are shown)10. CD-ROM Shattering Holiday Myths:Myth statementStatusNotesA frozen turkey can explode if it is dropped into a deep fryer pot too fast.BustedWhile it will not explode, the turkey can cause the boiling oil to splash all over the place (which can be extremely dangerous) if it is dropped into the deep fryer improperly.Placing a silver spoon in a bottle of champagne will make the bubbles last longer.BustedThe spoon actually reduces the fizziness of champagne. In a blind taste test when compared to several controls (opened champagne, re-corked champagne, and unopened champagne), both Adam and Jamie ranked the spooned champagne the lowest in terms of fizziness.A falling icicle can kill a person.ConfirmedAn icicle over 1.5 ft (0.46 m) in length falling from about 15 ft (4.6 m) completely penetrated a steak, showing it is possible for an icicle to kill a person.A clothed snowman melts slower than a naked one.ConfirmedIn the 80 °F San Francisco summer heat, the naked snowman (representing Jamie) melted considerably faster than the clothed snowman (representing Adam). The clothes on the Adam snowman protected it from the heat and acted as insulation to help keep the temperature of the snow from rising.A urine stream can freeze in the cold of winter.BustedWhen tested in a freezer at −70 °F (−57 °C), the fake urine stream the MythBusters used did not freeze in midair.Lighting a fire in a fireplace with a chimney can make a house colder.ConfirmedThe living room was heated and the nearby kitchen remained unchanged, but other, more distant rooms got almost 3 °F (2 °C) colder.
