Description: Up for bid is a very beautiful signed, limited edition photograph by the legendary American photographer NAN GOLDIN. It is entitled C AND SO COMPETING FOR THE OSCAR, SECOND TIP, BANGKOK, 1992 and was published in 2020 by the Magnum Foundation (in partnership with the Aperture Foundation), as part of their annual print sale. The sale was entitled Imagination, and featured works by more than 100 well known photographers who have explored literal and metaphorical questions of the theme. Each invited artist produced a signed limited edition print on a sheet of 6"x 6" Fuji Crystal Archive Matte paper. As is customary with these annual Magnum sales, the edition size for these prints is not based on a specific quantity. Instead, the prints are strictly available to purchase from the publisher for 5 days only. PLEASE NOTE: the first image was taken from the internet and accurately shows the color balance of this photograph. The sheet measures 6" x 6" (15.24cm x 15.24cm), image measures 5.5" x 5.5" (14 x 14cm), and is in pristine mint condition. The back of the sheet has the issued Magnum descriptive label, and is signed by the artist in black ink as shown. The original storage envelope is included as shown. Authenticity guaranteed.
