Description: Up for sale is a Very Unique! (One Of A Kind) Eagle Effigy Pipe-10 1/2" Long X 3" Height X 4" Wide. I did a lot of traveling in my younger years along with many Pow Wows + bought many items- but it was my grandfather who was MIC MAC is who really got me hooked on the history of the people before us. He had an extensive collection that was just all boxed up and sitting in the attic. I ended up opening a store in Mass. specializing in something old +something new-I also opened a store on ebay which I did very with +without any issues. This is one of the items that I just really loved and was never interested in selling so I just kept it in the store front window. But times change, and these things are just collecting dust on a shelf, + they are just too beautiful and unique to be packed away. I did take this to Skinner Auctioneers in Boston Mass. who can also be seen on antiques roadshow doing appraisals-They thought it would bring between $700-$1,000.00. I have previously consigned items with Skinner and found them to be fairly accurate-but all this takes time- plus auctioneers fees ect. so, I decided to try selling it myself first.
