Nepenthes Veitchii G. Mulu SG - Carnivorous Plant

Description: This is a listing for one Nepenthes veitchii Gunung Mulu SG. This plant came from seeds I grew from horticultural seeds made from Hortus Botanicus Leiden. The locality of these plants are from Gunung Mulu. N. veitchii produce attractive flared peristomes when they are mature. The parents both have golden, flared peristomes and it is expected that the offspring will have them too. The seedlings were sprouted in September 2021 and have been growing since then. The plant has been hardened off to standard greenhouse conditions. This is one of the largest seedlings of the bunch and the grex has been culled a few times to ensure the best genetics make it out. These grow well in lowland, intermediate or highland temperatures and are pretty hardy. Humidity should be kept at 50% or higher with decent airflow. You are expected to have some experience with growing Nepenthes before you purchase. The plant shown in the pictures is representative of one you will receive. Some may be slightly larger or smaller. The cup noodle is for scale. The plant is growing in a 2.5 inch pot in a 50/50 mix of sphagnum moss and perlite. The leaf span is 3 inches from tip to tip. The largest pitcher is 2 inches tall. The image is the representative of what you will receive. Care instructions will be provided with packing. These plants are pest-free and have been growing in my grow tent. My conditions are: 85F days, 70F nights in the summer and 83F days, 63F nights in the winter. Humidity is 65-85%. I keep these under 6500K lights.
