The reverse with a ruined castle in a Lakeland setting.Having a gilt monogram ‘JH’, within a laurel wreath, beneath the leaf moulded spout.The jug applied with an acanthus leaf moulded handle, heightened in gilt.Height – 14.3 cm, 5 5/8”.Width (Handle to spout)- 19 cm, 7 1/2”.Depth – 14 cm, 5 1/2”.Condition – Excellent.
