This handmade Head Joint reflects the classic design, unique projecting timbre and quick response which has been the genesis of Wm. S. Haynes’ flutemaking since 1888. Interestingly enough, the Gold Plating on the Lip Plate and Interior of the tube has a substantial and very positive effect on the sonics of the head joint and therefore on the entire flute. !! Note: This head joint should fit all Haynes Flutes (and many others as well) but some adjustment may be necessary !!
