Product Description: This offering is for a new-old-stock GIANT branded reversible threadless stem that measures 100 mm from the center of the steerer to the center of the bar clamp. It's made from an aluminum alloy and is probably best categorized as a middle-of-the-road offering that weighs in at about 270 grams. It has a somewhat oversized block-like style and it's relatively heavy weight is probably an indicator that it's fairly stiff...but please note the warning label still attached to the steerer...as this stem is not designed for any form of competition-level activities. Probably the nicest features include the two-bolt detachable clamp for more convenient handlebar installs/unistalls and the ability to flip the stem to achieve a +/- 14 degree rise. Other specs include a steerer diameter that measures 28.6 mm (or 1 1/8") and a handlebar clamp that measures 25.4 mm (so a good candidate for many upright/mtb style bars that are typically spec'd with this measurement). As for condition, this is our last one and it shows fairly well. The black enamel finish is still in nice condition with minimal shopwear (although please note the last picture in the sequence to the left...as we did note one small, but fairly visible scuff in the stem body). Please also note we were not provided steerer dust covers with these stems, so this is something that will have to be acquired elsewhere. One other note...as we alluded to above...there is a warning label still attached to this stem (and we have taken a close-up picture of this labeling). We mention this again, because there is reference to an owner's manual with this stem and I just want to confirm we were not provided with the owner's manual...for those considering this offering.
