Description: This vintage 1995 Cross Townsend black lacquer and I believe 10K gold filled (may be 23K gold plated, I see no markings) ballpoint pen boasts a sleek black lacquer finish and is accented with yellow gold trim. Crafted in the United States, this pen is from 1995 and was never used. It has sat in its box for decades. It has its original Cross booklet too. It has the original “Cross” name in cursive - the newer models are in print not script. Amazingly, the pen writes - its black ink has not dried out. I suspect the ink will need to be replaced as it is quite old. The ink color is black, and the pen is not personalized. It is a great addition to any collection and is perfect for everyday use.
